Chicken and Egg

So a lot of people wonder what truly did come first? The chicken or the egg? I'm sorry if i offend anyone on this extremely sensitive subject, but i will speak from the heart. Now i believe that actually they both came first in history. Please let me explain my theory before you completely reject my idea. In the beginning of time there was a somewhat mixture between them both. It was basically a chicken that had a mutated egg on its back. This strange creature was sent down by the gods as a gift to all the carnivorous species everywhere. One day back in time this creature was running from an unknown species. The carnivore took a bite at the creature and happened to rip off the egg-like object off its back, but the carnivore was displeased with the small bite and decided to leave the chicken-egg creature to rot. The gods were angered that the carnivorous beast left their gift and dealt with it (this leads into a different story about extinction, but ill just end that here for now). The gods also decided that such a terrible end to the beautiful creature and tried to save it. They did all they could but in the end were unable to put it back together. Luckily they were able to put life back into the chicken part, and so came the chicken. The chicken, sad that it lost part of itself, took the egg back to its place. It went on with its life for a while as a normal animal. One day when the chicken came back it found that the egg had a crack in it and sat and observed it. Eventually the egg busted open and there sat a baby chick. The two chickens eventually created more eggs and chicks. And there is the story behind the chicken and the egg.
